4 months and Jordan's 1st Easter

We can't believe that our little munchkin is already 4 and a half months old! Last week, following his 4-month doctor visit, we began giving him his first taste of food from a spoon. He's been trying the rice cereal mixed with formula and some of it has even made it into his mouth!

Saturday morning we took Jordan over to the church for his first Easter Egg hunt. This year daddy helped him out just a little bit, but we're sure that he will be all over them without any help next Easter.

Since Nez was off work on Friday, she and Jordan did some clothes shopping...uh oh. Luckily Andy was able to meet them at the store before they bought out the whole Carter's store. Jordan did come away with a nice pink button down shirt and khaki pants for Easter Sunday.

We received very sad news the night before Easter. Andy's grandma, Nenie, passed away at the wise old age of 97! As sad as we are and as tough as it will be to travel down later this week for the funeral, we are SO GLAD that we were able to make it down to Florida last month during spring break so that Jordan could meet his great-grandma Nenie. We know he'll never remember, but we know it meant a lot to her and we will have pictures of him with her that we can show him when he gets older.
